From TN down to the PO corner
TN is the East Sussex side nearest us. Think Crowborough and Wadhurst. Further down it's Heathfield and Battle. Rye and Hastings are on the coast. RH is Crawley and Horsham country. Haywards Heath and East Grinstead are RH too. BN takes in Brighton and Lewes. Eastbourne as well, plus the downland villages. PO is the Chichester end.
Sussex land and the machines it sells
What gets sold in Sussex depends on which part of the county it works in. Runners or not, we'll look at all of it.
Ashdown Forest and the High Weald
Between Forest Row and Heathfield it's small fields and woodland, with pony paddocks tucked in between. Compact side-by-sides do the fencing and hay runs here. So do Gators, and plenty of older 4x4 quads that have spent years carting muck.
Sheep on the South Downs chalk
From the hills above Eastbourne west past Lewes to Chichester, downland flocks mean quads climbing steep, rutted banks daily. They're valued as working machines. Worn tyres and scuffed plastics aren't a problem. The vineyards on the Downs and in the Weald run narrow UTVs between the rows.
The Rother and Pevensey levels
Around Rye the ground flattens into grazing levels, much like Romney Marsh on the Kent side of the border, and the Pevensey Levels near Eastbourne are similar. Stock quads there live in damp fields and sea air. Mention any rust or sticky brakes and we'll factor it in.
E-dirt bikes from Brighton and Crawley

Most Sur-Ron, Talaria, Stark Varg and E Ride Pro models are not road legal. They're for private land with the landowner's permission, and tracks. We never suggest riding a non-road-legal bike on public roads.

The roads down from Kent
Collection in Sussex is free and we drive the whole way, so once you say yes we just pick a day together, allowing more time the further west you are, since Chichester is a good deal further from Kent than Rye.
Our roads into East Sussex
The A21 leaves Tunbridge Wells for Lamberhurst and Robertsbridge, then runs on to Hastings with Battle just off it. Further west, the A26 heads south through Crowborough and Uckfield to Lewes. Along the coast, the A259 comes in from the marsh to Rye. From the Kent Weald, the A268 out of Hawkhurst and the A28 out of Tenterden both cross the border near Northiam.
West Sussex via the A264 and M23
East Grinstead is straight along the A264. For Crawley and Horsham it's either the A264 all the way or the M25 round to the M23.

How much notice do you need for West Sussex?
Once you accept, we fix the day. Crowborough and Wadhurst are the easiest to fit in, being so close to the border. Horsham and Chichester can need a few extra days.
Do Sussex sellers show the same paperwork as Kent sellers?
Exactly the same. We want photo ID and the V5C or purchase receipt. The frame or VIN gets checked before any money moves.
Is there an Off Road Buyers yard anywhere in Sussex?
There isn't one. We work from Kent and bring the trailer to you, so nobody has to deliver a machine to us.
Can a Sussex vineyard or estate sell a UTV to you?
It can. If a business owns the machine, we also ask for something showing you can sell it on their behalf.
