How a Storm Bee differs from a Light Bee
To sell your Sur-Ron Storm Bee for what it's worth, start from the fact that it isn't a big Light Bee. A Light Bee X is small and light on a 60V pack, and plenty of riders want one. The Storm Bee is a full-size enduro and motocross machine running 104V, and anyone shopping for one rides trails or tracks and knows exactly what they're looking at.
So condition counts for more. Healthy battery? Recent fork and shock service? Stamped service book? Each one moves the figure. Two Storm Bees of the same year can be far apart once one has been ridden hard and put away wet. Most still start higher than any Light Bee.

The 104V pack
By far the costliest part to replace. If it's been swapped or rebuilt, tell us which workshop did it. Invoices help.

Suspension matters more here than on a Light Bee because it's a heavier bike landing bigger jumps. Receipts for a recent fork and shock service are worth sending. So are details of any sensible brake upgrade.

Storm Bee battery health on a 104V pack
At 104V, the pack drives the offer. How old is it? Roughly how many charges? Did it spend last winter in a cold shed, or indoors on a maintenance charge? If range has dropped, say so. A photo of any health or cycle reading helps too.

Storm Bee ownership papers and VIN
Before we pay, we look at your ID and your proof of ownership, then match the VIN stamped into the headstock against them. A dealer's invoice in your name is the best proof. No invoice? An order email or the bank record of the payment will do. So will finance paperwork. A registered bike needs its V5C.
Still owe money on it? We pay off the finance company and send you the difference: here's how a sale with outstanding finance works. We won't buy one with an altered VIN. Nor one with no proof of ownership, or with a police seizure against it.
Where a Storm Bee may be ridden
Most Sur-Ron, Talaria, Stark Varg and E Ride Pro models are not road legal. They're for private land with the landowner's permission, and tracks. We never suggest riding a non-road-legal bike on public roads.

Usually. It's a bigger, faster bike, with a 104V pack where the Light Bee has 60V.
Do you buy Storm Bees with lights and a plate fitted?
We do. If it's registered, the V5C comes with it. Without registration we price it as an off-road bike.
Is a crash-damaged Storm Bee still worth an offer?
Crashed bikes still get a figure. Send photos and we'll price it as it stands, and you're free to say no.
What proof do you need if I've no Storm Bee receipt?
An order email usually does it, or the bank entry for the payment. Your dealer may also have you on file. Whatever you send has to match the headstock VIN.
